Trellis
The system we built to run our own home, then opened to other families. One place to run a household, with a homeschool system and a life-design app in the same family.
Proves Family

The situation
Most of what holds a family together lives in too many places at once: the calendar, the money, the kids' schooling, the marriage check-ins, the thousand small decisions. Trellis started as the system Remi and Kendra built to run their own home, then became a product for other families.
What we did
We built a family operating system around twelve pillars of household life, with an AI advisor named Cy who knows the family by name. Seven pillars are live: Who We Are, Self and Soul, The Partnership, Raising Your Kids, Time and Rhythms, Managing Your Money, and Running the Home. Five more are on the way.
What we built
Trellis brings a household into one place: day planning tied to a real calendar, finances with documents read and sorted by AI, a kid economy, partnership tools with a private wall so a spouse's interior notes stay their own, and a weekly family meeting that Cy helps run. It is multi-tenant and serious about child data. Cross-household isolation and the privacy walls are tested on every change, not assumed.
Inside the same system are two more products. Roots and Wings is the homeschool side, built mobile first for the way a parent actually plans a school day. Arc is a life-design app for young adults, a guided, phased onboarding into a personal dashboard, built for the years just before someone starts a household of their own. Arc is where the Trellis way of living begins.
Built to last
A family should be able to run Trellis without us, and a family's private life should stay private even from us. Both are built into the architecture, not promised on top of it.
Stack
Next.js, TypeScript, Supabase with membership-based access control, Google Calendar, Twilio, Resend, the Anthropic API. Tested with Playwright, including the tenant-isolation and privacy suites that gate every release. Deployed on Vercel.
