Small business · Built for a Sunnyvale salon
Beyond Veneer
A curly hair salon that treats clients like long-term partners needed a presence and a booking experience that worked the same way, and that the owner could run herself.

The situation
Beyond Veneer is a curly hair salon in Sunnyvale built on a real idea: a stylist who sees you every six to twelve weeks, tracks your progress, and builds a plan to get you there. The salon needed an online presence that matched that standard, and a way to book that did not depend on a patchwork of outside tools.
What we did
We built the site and the booking experience together, and set it up so the owner is never waiting on a developer to keep it current.
What we built
A full site with the salon's story, a services menu, the team, policies, and a product line through the Ranan shop. Booking runs through the site. The showcase is owner-editable, so new work goes up without anyone in the loop. The whole thing carries the salon's voice: education first, relationship driven, all textures welcome.
Built to last
The owner runs her own presence. We built the system and handed her the keys. That is the whole point.
What changed
The owner runs the site and the booking herself, which was the whole point. Next, we are building the back-office platform that runs the rest of her business.
Is this even my site?
